Dr. med. Benno Schulze Schleppinghoff
Dr. Schulze Schleppinghoff has been a member of the medical team at Preventicum since January 2015. He is a specialist in Internal Medicine, Diabetology (German Diabetes Society) and Psychotherapy. He is in the process of developing with Preventicum a concept called “Stop Diabetes Type 2”. Diabetes is one of the key fields for preventive medicine worldwide. Dr. Schulze Schleppinghoff can draw on many years of experience in treating diabetic patients.
His doctoral thesis already focused on this theme. He then held a leading position at the Diabetes Center at the Elisabeth Krankenhaus in Essen, working with Prof. Dr. G. Boersch. He considers his major milestone there the achievement of official certification for the clinical Diabetes center. After moving to Essen in 1993, he made a name for himself locally with the “Diabetes House”.
